Bug: Weird Caching Bugs

Mercury Social Space News is experiencing some odd behavior.

-Sometimes, the front page is old. Really old. Like cached-from-a-week-ago old.
-After voting for something, leaving the page, and returning (by clicking a link, not using the back button), my vote doesn't show up. Trying to vote again gives the "already voted" error.

From my outside-the-black-box perspective, I'd say that Pligg is flawed, but I can't say for sure.

I'm using XP with Firefox.

Partial Fix

So the bug affected two areas of On Orbit. The main site built on Drupal and the Mercury Social Space News built on Pligg. The main bug is fixed. The cache is cleared every 5 minutes now so anonymous or registered users who had not logged in won't have the problem anymore.

I'm still working on the Mercury bug but hope to have it fixed shortly.

still not fixed

FYI: I experienced another caching bug in a different situation. I typed up a comment on a story (the GenY one), submitted it, and the comment didn't show up. I had to do a hard refresh (ctrl-refresh on firefox) to get the comment to show up.
