A NASA TV Content Overhaul.
Does anyone else out there think NASA TV needs a complete overhaul?
There has to be more interesting things happening in the space program than what is being dished up daily on NTV.
Another rerun of "The NASA Why? Files" and the treehouse gang and I think I'm going to throw up. Or if you're tired of watching your paint dry, there's always a playback of the days exciting events from ISS Mission Control.
Any ideas out there?

A NASA TV Content Overhaul
The interviews from around the various NASA centers are good. Especially with respect to how they are supporting the new Constellation program.
They own the greatest archive of scientific briefings/telecons/historical video etc., yet it's only aired infrequently or late at night/early AM. Howabout some video from the Haughton-Mars Project? That would be great! . . . and FREE!
IMO there's not much shown on NTV (other than a launch/landing) that would remotely interest a young person (esp. of Jr-High/High School age) about a career in math/science or the space business.
They used to show a series of videos by the California Institute of Technology called "Project MATHEMATICS!" Those were excellent. Whatever happened to those? - Bumped for the "Why? Files" or "Space Place Live" no doubt.

I would say NASA is making
I would say NASA is making some progress but you're right a few less reruns would be better. However with a tight budget it's hard to improve things much.
